Mengenal 4 Cara Memantau Ruangan dari Smartphone

Maraknya kasus pencurian dan perampokan kini telah menjadi momok bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Keamanan rumah yang kurang efektif tak dapat mengehentikan kawanan rampok dan kawanan maling ini. 1. CCTV

Keamanan elektrik adalah sistem keamanan dengan yang digunakan untuk perangkat elektrik yang adalah didalam rumah atau ruangan tertentu. Sistem ini membantu pengguna untuk mengontrol seluruh perangkat elektrik seperti lampu, pintu elektrik, jendela elektrik dan perangkat rumah yang lain. Aplikasi ini sangat berguna saat rumah ditinggal oleh kita agar selalu terkontrol dengan baik. Sistem kerjanya adalah, kamera akan merekam ruangan yang berdurasi 30 detik yang kemudian akan dikirimkan notifikasi melalui email. Aplikasi ini bisa terkontrol dengna mudah di smartphone.

Manipulating keyboard LEDs through software

Over the last few years, on my websites and in my book, we have discussed how to access or manipulate several interesting Mac components: the sudden motion sensor, trusted platform module, infrared remote control, system management controller, traditional input devices, the backlit keyboard lights, the ambient light sensor, and so on. (Not every Mac has all of these components.) The most popular of these by far turned out to be the sudden motion sensor, which went on to be a building block for many, many cool programs.

Speaking of lights, there are some lights on your computer that we havent talked about yet. The caps lock and num lock LEDs on your keyboard (not all keyboards have these) are examples. These LEDs can be manipulated through software: you can both query and alter their state from your own programs.

If you have an irrepressible urge to turn these LEDs on or off through software, here is a program that shows you how. (Note that the program only manipulates the LEDs — it will not actually cause caps lock or num lock to be engaged.) The program also serves as an example of how to do user-space Human Interface Device (HID) programming through the I/O Kit.

The program should work whether you have a wired USB keyboard or a Bluetooth wireless keyboard. Compile and run the program as follows.

$ gcc -Wall -o keyboard_leds keyboard_leds.c 
        -framework IOKit -framework CoreFoundation
$ ./keyboard_leds -h
...
Usage: keyboard_leds [OPTIONS...], where OPTIONS is one of the following

AccessibilityFS An All Access Pass to Your UI

A week or so ago I was looking at doing some user interface testing. At the same time, I was playing with MacFUSE, wondering about things I could do with it. All of a sudden I had an epiphany: I had to write AccessibilityFS, an accessibility file system! Not just because its gratuitously cool, but because it turns out such a thing has some very practical applications. You can use it for UI testing, UI scripting, and even as a command-line VNC of sorts. Of course, its also a great demonstration of how to use MacFUSE, and its completely open sourced.

The Accessibility APIs are how an assistive technology, such as a screen reader or head-tracking mouse, communicates with applications on Mac OS X. These APIs allow you to examine an applications UI and manipulate it in a variety of ways. AccessibilityFS creates a file system that uses the accessibility APIs to provide a directory representing your running applications. You can then explore the various UI elements--windows, menus, controls, and so on--as if they were folders and documents in your Finder. The attributes of the UI elements, such as value, position, title, etc., are stored as extended attributes on the files and folders. Shell commands such as xattr will let you see and, if possible, manipulate these attributes. (Please note that to get help on xattr, you must use xattr -h because Leopard is missing the man page.) You can even send actions to the elements by "writing" actions such as AXPress to the files.
